Malaria
Cause​: ​Anopheles mosquito bite
Symptoms: Moderate to high fever, Sweating, Headache & chills


Dengue
Cause​: ​Aedes mosquito bite
Symptoms: High fever, Headaches, Pain behind yes, Severe joint & muscle pain


Hepatitis A
Cause​: ​Hepatitis A virus (HAV) & is primarily transmitted through the ingestion of contaminated food or water
Symptoms: Body ache, Nausea, Vomiting along with joint pain


Chikungunya
Cause​: Mosquito bite
Symptoms​: Muscle pain, Joint swelling, Rashes & Fever


Gastroenteritis
Cause​: Stomach flu caused by eating contaminated food
Symptoms: Diarrhea, vomiting & abdominal cramps​

Do's

  • Drink only boiled, treated & clean water.
  • Ensure personal hygiene & wash hands before every meal.
  • Opt for healthy & nutritious home cooked food.
  • Avoid raw, unhygienic & cold food.
  • Meat, poultry, & seafood to be thoroughly cooked at a high temperature.
  • Wash feet with lukewarm water & antiseptic solution after wading through water.
