Some common items which are not covered by Schengen Travel Insurance Policy are:
Pre-existing medical conditions, unless it's a life threatening condition
Expenses incurred on account of committing suicide, self inflicted injuries or illness resulting in hospitalisation, mental disorders, Anxiety, stress or depression, Venereal diseases, Alcohol/drug abuse Or Sexually transmitted diseases like HIV/AIDS.
Hospitalisation resulting in travelling against the advice of the physician is not covered. Travelling abroad to receive medical treatment also doesn't get covered by the travel insurance.
Any issues faced due to theft or loss of passport when left unattended does not get covered.
In case of loss of checked baggage, no partial loss or damage shall become payable.
