Is there a Sri Lanka Visa-On-Arrival for Indian Citizens?

Indian citizens can apply for a visa-on-arrival for Sri Lanka. Before 30 April 2024, Indians could avail of this visa-on-arrival facility free of cost by simply obtaining an e-visa.

However, since 2 August 2024, the online portal for electronic visas for visa-on-arrival has been suspended until further notice.

With this new update, it is important to note that Indians can still avail of a visa-on-arrival for Sri Lanka by paying the applicable Sri Lanka visa fee at the point of entry as soon as they arrive.
