Yes. You can buy a Reliance Hospi Care policy if you have a pre-existing disease. However, you have to serve a waiting period of 48 months (continuous coverage) before availing yourself of the coverage and benefits.
A lump sum cash benefit refers to a one-time payout we provide towards your hospitalisation expenses.
You must serve a standard waiting period of 90 days before availing of the benefits. In the case of pre-existing conditions, the waiting period is 48 months.
Under our Hospi Care plan, there is a 48-month waiting period for pre-existing diseases. You must have continuous coverage during this period to be eligible for coverage.
